Valerie Jardon, RID, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED AP, Fitwel Ambassador, is a Senior Strategist with IA Interior Architects with over 13 years of experience in the industry and has donated many hours to advancing the profession while educating people on the importance of design. Valerie served on the IIDA Illinois board from 2010-2015 and acted as the 2013 Board President; she was involved in the 2018/19 North American task force responsible for updating the CIDQ definition of Interior Design; and currently, Valerie is serving as the Chair for State of Illinois Department of Professional & Financial Regulation Interior Design Board. She will never turn down the opportunity to talk about the profession and raise awareness and is excited to be part of the Designing the Future Advocacy Forum.

John is a Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is a member of the Leaders of Design Council (LDC). He is also a member of the 2019-2021 ASID Board of Directors and has held leadership positions, both locally and nationally, for ASID—including ASID Illinois Chapter President.

Susan El-Naggar ASID, NCIDQ, LEED GA, WELL AP, She is Principal and owner of Healing Environments, an award-winning firm with a focus on human health and wellness in the built environment. She is the current President of ASID IL Chapter. She is a CIDQ Ambassador and also sat as a juror for the NCIDQ exam. She is a registered Interior Designer in Illinois and Indiana.
