Join your peers for an IIDA Illinois CEU IDCEC .01 credit hour about Danish designer Poul Kjaerholm.

Quietly revered in modernist circles for his logical designs and meticulous details, Kjaerholm was originally trained as a carpenter. He is known for his use of steel which he treated with the same artistic finesse of wood and other natural materials.

The CEU will be complimented by an exhibition of his iconic Mid-century pieces, deconstructed to illuminate his disciplined construction techniques and ability to remove any superfluous parts. Guests will be presented with gift bags including a limited edition printed poster of Kjaerholm's photography.
