Description
IIDA members and guests are invited to attend a self-guided tour of the holiday decorated Dana-Thomas House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1902 for Susan Lawrence Dana. The home, which is the 72nd building designed by Wright, contains the largest collection of site-specific, original art glass and furniture. Wright’s first “blank check” commission, the home has 35 rooms in the 12,000 square feet of living space which includes 3 main levels and 16 varying levels in all.
The Open House is from 5:00-8:00 PM. Please join as us we stroll through this masterpiece!
Light bites and beverages will be served in the original Carriage House.
Transportation
Avoid the drive and enjoy some holiday cheer and light snacks on the trip. Join us on a Peoria Charter Bus to Springfield, with departures from:
