CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Illinois Chapter of the International Interior Design Association is pleased to announce the call for submissions for the 9th Annual Recognizing Exemplary Design Awards. Help us to celebrate Interior Design in Illinois by submitting a project that has been completed no earlier than January 2018. Entrants can submit to one or more category, ranging from commercial to residential, students to hospitality and more. Winners will be announced and featured on the IIDA Illinois Chapter website and social media on June 10, 2021. Winning projects will also have the opportunity to be virtually toured by members of the IIDA Illinois Chapter in the following year, which is exposure that you can't get anywhere else. Don't miss this opportunity to have your Exemplary Design Recognized!
To submit, please carefully review the submission rules below for detailed requirements and instructions. After reviewing the submission rules, please complete the online submission form and submit payment. NEW DEI: A project that was completed by a project team that met diversity requirements exceeding 25% for the total project, including MBE (Minority), WBE (Women), LGBTQ, VBE (Veteran Owned), and DBE (Disadvantaged Individuals).
NEW Philanthropic: A project for a non-profit organization of any size. The RED Award event proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization of the winning submission.
NEW Wild Card: A project that does not fit within the framework of the other project submission categories based on the diversity and complexity of program requirements.
