Sam began her career as an Interior Designer in Philadelphia, designing for workplace environments. After a few years in the interiors industry Sam went to graduate school at Philadelphia University where she studied weaving, completed a graduate assistantship in the textile testing lab, which led her to the materials designer position on the Creative Direction team at Adidas based in Germany. She worked alongside color and graphics teams to help develop the brand direction, based off research and trend reporting. Ready to come back to the US, she wanted to work closer to manufacturing and landed the Creative Manager position at Mannington where she manages the team of designers creating product for all categories.
